Hi Peter - Don't worry, your logs are safe. It seems that Facebook has changed the login API. We are investigating and hope to find a solution soon.

Currently, it requires an admin to add an operator. You can send an email to the feedback email address and an admin will add it. It helps to have the operator's website so we can get the address and contact details easily.

Great idea. For now, if you go to your "My Profile" page in the lower-right corner you will find a group of tabs. The very last tab is "admin". There you can export your logs in CSV (comma delimited text) format. You can open this in Excel (or Google Docs etc). It has a lot of columns but you should be able to edit and print what you want to. Hope this helps.

We were able to replicate the problem on an iPad using both Safari and Chrome. We've put it on the 'fix it' list. Thanks very much for the report Gerard.

Adding dive shops is currently only available to admins. Send us an email with the shop's website (or address / contact details) and we'll be happy to add it.

Is 'Tukang Tambal Ban' a dive shop in Indonesia? If so, can you provide some more information about them so that we can add them to the database?
If it's a place to go diving, can you provide or point out some more information so that we can add it?

Good idea. It's definitely nice to have this just for keeping in mind what camera to buy next. We don't have the metadata available right now for the photos but we will keep this in mind. Also, changing the way photos are displayed is on our todo list so hopefully we can find a solution when we make those changes. Thanks very much for the idea.

Great idea Robert. We've got some climate data on the site pages now and of course the average / aggregated results of dive logs.
We researched having tide data at one point. You would think that would be easy to find and cheap to get. However, we were not able to find an affordable (i.e. free :) ) global source.
More divers logging dives is one solution to this. In a perfect world there would be 1000's of divers logging dives instantly with mobile devices. We're working on it....It helps having users like you to provide feedback and invite friends to the cause.

Using photos from facebook could also be an option. Please let us know what you think. Would it be easier to use photos from facebook or from another site like flickr?

Red, we agree. Security has been a real issue from the beginning and is one of the most challenging aspects of the site. This has proven to be a very difficult problem to solve.
